Tanvi Raman, MD

Tanvi Raman is aboard-certified Internal Medicine Specialist with an emphasis in Geriatrics.

Dr. Tanvi Raman has always had a strong interest in internal medicine. Prior to joining BASS Medical Group, Dr. Raman worked as an Associate Regional Medical Officer at CareMore Health in San Jose, California. Prior to joining CareMore, she worked as an inpatient physician with the John Muir Medical Group, served as associate and then medical director for inpatient and transitional care services, and established and served in the high-risk home visit program for elderly patients.

Dr. Raman received her baccalaureate of medicine degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India in 2006, and then relocated to the United States, performing her residency in internal medicine at San Joaquin General Hospital from 2007until 2010.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Raman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine . The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In her free time, Dr. Raman loves to spend time with her husband, two lovely children and her big extended family. She is trained in classical dance, and she also enjoys philanthropy and travel.

Although she specializes in Geriatrics, Dr. Raman looks forward to serving all patients 18years of age or older.
